Let Lisa Sing, Please !
05/03/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Lisa is a very talented young country singer. Her voice penetrates the heart and soul. Her newest album has yet to be released in the U.S., it was to be in August 98. It will be time for her new album , by the time this one ever gets on the shelves. There are thousands, if not millions of people waiting to purchase it. But where is it ? You people at Sony/Columbia better awake or your going to lose a good thing ! Because Lisa can and will do better than those labels. And no doubt she will eventually. Thanks Lisa, we still love your singing and songwritting. Love to hear from you. On a new and outgoing label."
Good song from an underrated artist

"This is only the first single off the long-awaited first release with the Columbia record label. Lisa had several great singles with prior label Capitol records, but due to what I feel was bad marketing, she is still not very well known in the U.S. "How Do I Let Go" is a moving song which showcases Lisa's wonderfully different voice. The album..."When You Get to Be You" has already been released in Canada and another single has been released as well. Those of us in the states are still waiting for the album to be released here. The single also contains "Ain't Enough Roses" which is a bluesy anthem about a woman who is tired of taking back her man after all of his shenanigans. I look forward to hearing more releases from the album when Columbia finally gets on the ball and releases it in the states. Lisa Brokop is a tremendously talented young lady with great music...all she needs is some support from a record label and some marketing in the U.S.! She's definitely an up-and-comer who should be an already-here....I hope Columbia records knows that."
