"I've been a big Lincoln Brewster fan since his first release on Vertical Records in 98'. Lincoln's songwriting skills are excellent and his solos electrifying. Real Life, however, is less diverse and has more of a 'cookie cutter' feel musically than Today is the Day. This is my honest reaction after listening to the entire cd 3 or 4 times. There are 3 or 4 songs that really moved me, but it just didn't seem as consistent as Today is the Day. I'd still buy it, but I found myself wanting a little more..."

"UPS showed up this morning with a blessing, this CD. Having listened to it I was amazed at how good this is. Moving from Rock to Worship Ballads this one is going to be at the top of my play list for a long while. Tracs 1, 2, 5, 6, & 10 Really Rock!!! The rest of the tracs are really great Meditation and Praise songs. They are all so good I haven't been able to find a favorite yet but I'm leaning toward (10)"Shout For Joy". Brewster's vocals and guitar are the best yet. The song content is uplifting and has stayed with me all morning. Its been a long time since I've listened to a CD and when I was finished wanted to play the whole thing over again.
