CD ReviewsVery, very awesome release Alucard | NY | 04/25/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "Limp was one band that I could never fully get into. I always thought their stuff was a bit too generic for my taste. They always had a few good tracks, but otherwise, I never really enjoyed any of their LP's to a full extent. That all changed when they released this masterpeice. Limp's third LP, which is self titled, is a cd so good, that it'll even please the harshest critic. It's catchy, it's deep, it's fun, and it rocks. All the way through, this cd delievers. It never gets dull or boring like their older releases. Limp have really matured as well, and you'll see it in the depth of the lyrics. Not to mention infectious guitar hooks as well."Tin Foil" is flat out amazing. That song is easily one of my favorites in 2002. It's catchy, and the lyrics are excellent. Other rockers are "Oh No", "Atom Bomb", "Lat Chance" and "Get Away". "Alis" is the acoustic track, and is also very cool. All the songs are good, and addicting as well.If you're a fan of the lighter side of punk, and still want lyrics with depth in your bands, you'd be crazy to pass this cd up. Limp have really outdone themselves and this cd is not getting half the credit it deserves. Even just buy it for "Tin Foil", its really unlikely that you'll hear a more addicting track than that one." A very pleasant surprise Eric M Jorgensen | 03/01/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "I had heard lots of things about this album and almost none of them were positive. "Generic," "boring," etc... What a shock I received when I popped in the CD. It fits NONE of those descriptions! Great melodies, cool vocal harmonies, varying song structures and lengths, the list goes on. I also own "Guitarded" and I would say that this self-titled release is much better. My favorites include, "Oh No," "Atom Bomb," "Get Away," and the acoustic song, "Ails". This is a great album that expands on Limp's proven formula for success." Punk-Pop music you can't stop listening to. Robert | CA | 02/25/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "Songs like, "Oh No", "Atom Bomb", and "Last Chance" are brilliant and will leave rocking. "Get Away"s layered vocals and guitars will inspire you. If your into Punk-Pop, or fun music that just rocks you got to check out this album. For that matter check out all their work. It's good stuff."
