CD Reviews

Those were the days..........................
I. Gibbons | 09/09/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This cd is a masterpiece that brings me right back to my high school crush, and riding my bike on those hot summer days. The melody and lyrics of this cd are what road trips, late nights, and moments to remember are made of. I am guilty of enjoying this cd because of the nostalgia it brings, but I guarantee it will create the same feelings down the road for you if you buy it. The tunes are upbeat, lyrics creative, and the vocals are solid. Pick it up!"
Most Americans still don't know this band....

"What a shame, they're really missing out. Anyway, I got this CD as a bargain for a buck in NYC (after having listened to one song in a britpop compilation), and I've been hooked ever since. They're a very light and happy band. Great to listen to when you just feel like chilling and relaxing. Fave songs: All I want, Pure, Sweet Dreams, the nearly man, and don't let go."
Been a fave since I bought it the first time.

"I only got this album this time around because my original one from the last century got overplayed and worn out. What does that tell you? Poppy, pretty, and sweet, everything is listenable and sometimes 'easy to dance to'. Ian's voice is a delight, almost childlike at times. "Pure", "Joy", and "All I Want" are some of the best, but all of them are nice on the ears. Peace."
