Didn't know it was Leopold....

"I have been looking for this "sleigh ride" for years. I was under the impression that it was Wolfgang Mozart. (I totally forgot about daddy.)

It was worth waiting for. I'm very pleased and so glad to finally add it to my collection."
A Useful Cache of Entertainments from the Elder Mozart

"These are venerable but nonetheless quite respectable interpretations of Leopold Mozart's most popular cassations or suites. The Toy Symphony is both indestructible and overrecorded to such a degree that you may want to pass it by for the less-often-heard and charming Musical Sleigh Ride, here tricked out with the usual sleigh bells and "whip" and done with requisite panache.

The Peasant Wedding is also lively, though some versions toss in additional sound effects by way of cheering crowds and shuffling feet simulating dancing. Helmut Koch contents himself with, I believe, two hurdy-gurdies, which add enough of a festive note.

Odd guy out is son Wolfgang's overplayed Musical Joke, which isn't a very good joke or music, either. It's well done by Otmar Suitner, a stalwart Austrian conductor who did yeoman work recording the Classical and Romantic repertory for a variety of labels.

The sound, though seventies vintage, is very good, so this is a cheap and filling way to acquire Leopold's little confections for orchestra.
