CD ReviewsPhat Planet - Beast Machines' Theme! inkworkz | 03/03/2000 (3 out of 5 stars) "I own a version of the 'Afrika Shox' single which features the song 'Phat Planet'. I do not know whether this version that I am reviewing is the one I own, but nonetheless, let me say my two cents' worth. I do not listen to a lot of dance music, but the title track come across a quite an interesting and funky tune. The version I own also contains a remix called 'Jedis Elastic Bass Mix' which is not as fantastic as the original version. The main attraction for me, however, is the 2nd track on the single 'Phat Planet'! It is listed on the single that the song is taken from the Guiness TV ad, so I guess it must be an advert from the UK. Now, being an avid Transformers fan who watches Mainframe's new Beast Machines series, THIS is the theme used for the opening and closing credits of the show. However, the version used on the show is tighter and much more engaging and exciting. This version on the single is of course much longer, and is not as tight feeling. However, this is an interesting addition to any Beast Machines fan. Get it!"
