CD Reviews

Crunchiest album ever!
resident | 04/11/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Listen up! The guitar tone on this album from start to finish is like a million man phalanx of steel footed soldiers marching over an ocean of human skulls. The riffs and the chunk are killer, Eddie spits his lyrics carefree and confidently, rythem section holds it down throughout.

Really, if you like heavy music with a city kid hardcore vibe and slept on this in the day, score this now somehow, one of my favorite albums ever! You wont be disappointed, dont go by the kid who gave it like 2 stars, he likes metal where dudes wear make up and pretend to like the devil, which has its place too, but this,is by no means that."
Amazing..

"[...]

Leeway's first album deleviers raw power. Hard, heavy and fast, BORN TO EXPIRE is a masterpiece of metal and hardcore put together. You can tell that these guys were hungry with this album, each song is full of break downs and well written lyrics. BORN TO EXPIRE is by no means a commercial album, it is truly underground music and was lightyears ahead of the music of the time.

Since the band has reunited, hopefully we will see a re-issue of this album.
