"This is Lee Perry at the apex of his creative arc; like all great art it is a universe defined only by itself. There is only one Upsetter and these three albums might be his most personal and Upsetting creation. Typical of Trojan releases, most of the material here is available elsewhere, but it's a crucial collection on one double cd, and the few nuggets they throw on Disc 2 as bonus tracks are uniquely worthwhile. And much to their credit, they don't split up any album onto two separate discs, something they have ruthlessly done in the past."
