"This band is local to Colorado Springs, and is in my opinion, one of the best in the area. Laymen Terms is one of those groups that when you hear them, you say-- "wow, why haven't i heard these guys before?". They sound like they've been around alot longer than they really have--and I can only imagine what these guys will have accomplished a few years from now if they keep at it. I'd classify them as emo-core. What does that mean? Well, it means that they play punk that borders on emo in some songs, and emo that borders on punk in other songs. This works to their advantage, because they appeal to a broader audience. "An Introduction" is worth buying if you'd like to hear something different from the punk scene, and it stands as an amazing first effort (better than most bands could ever do on a debut). Buy the album, and then go see the band."
