Holiday revelers and shoppers looking for relief from the annual deluge of major-label albums of traditional Christmas songs performed by celebrity singers backed by lush orchestras have an appealing alternative: original law-related rock-and-roll holiday songs composed, performed, and produced by an attorney. Independent-label LawTunes has released "Merry Lexmas From The Lawtunes," its third full-length album of allegedly-humorous lawyer-created holiday songs. Following the precedent of its earlier releases, "The Lawyer's Holiday Humor Album" and "Legal Holidaze," the 15 songs on the new holiday CD continue to take on a broad range of subjects regarding lawyers, the law, legal education, and the legal system.
