CD Reviews

One of my deset island discs....

"What can be said......If I had to choose five albums to be buried with this would be one of them. It is short, but it gets right to the point. Jello's vocals with DOA's playing is pure magic. The lyrics are hilarious and they are to the point. If you want to get a good idea of how the true left views things look to Jello. Never will "We gotta get out of this place" mean the same thing as it did in the past.Full Metal Jackoff is one of the top 10 best songs ever writtenBuy this album........you will not regret it...."

"Only 6 songs? Who cares? Every one is a winner, especially the 11 minute onslaught that is "Full Metal Jackoff." D.O.A. was a great band and Jello is still going strong, but together, these guys were unreal. Buy this album and play it loud."

"I'd heard some Dead Kennedys in the early 1980s, and had bought "Inc God We Trust, Inc." Loved 2-3 of their songs, enjoyed many of the lyrics of the rest of the songs. When I saw the positive reviews for this 1989 CD, I decided to try it. I bought it last week. The other fans were right, this is a TERRIFIC compact disc. I not only enjoyed the first song and its cadence thoroughly, it was a delight to hear the remake of "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place" from The Animals.Biafra is just as clever and charismatic as ever. He sounds terrific with DOA. At least as good as any old material, maybe even better. In fact, I'm playing it again right now..."
