Synopsis

Album Description
"An often-ignored two-piece from Sweden, Last Days of April delivers a hauntingly beautiful collection of songs about love and longing with their sophomore effort. With its delicate melodies, tear-streaked lyrics, and careful layering of piano and string arrangements, Angel Youth forgoes anger for straight-up depression, providing the perfect soundtrack for sitting in your darkened room and sulking." -- Alternative Press Stockholm-based Last Days of April has been around for more than eight years now, and their evolution has been astounding. After one 7" and one full-length on different Swedish labels, LDOA signed with Bad Taste in 1998 and has since released several albums. During this time, the group performed extensively, including tours with the Promise Ring and Sense Field as well as a support gig with Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) in Amsterdam. Having received critical praise worldwide, this classic emo album is nothing short of outstanding, and is finally available again!

"These mellow tunes are some of the best heard since a long time, i have bin waiting for something like this!
The texts are somewhat sad but also very honest, at the end "their getting there".
This is a record that is good the first time u hear it, but it's one of thouse albums that grow on you.
If i was u i would buy 2 of them in case one gets lost;)"
Sounds A Bit The Same

"The sound is very good. This is in my opinion, Last Day of April's best cd. But the songs begin to sound the same and repetitive. That's the only real complaint, but it becomes a big one. Glowing Me, Choking You is the best, in my humble opinion."
Brilliant
