Synopsis

Product Description
Bang! Never has a title fit any better than Bang does here. In this CD comes a lot of Bang for the buck. Larry Crowley who has been a professional musician from the sweet age of 9 years old, has sat back and honed his craft as a writer, musican, recording artist until he thought the time right. Like the ageing of a good wine this bottle was not uncorked until the day it was suppose to be. When it was uncorked it came with a Bang! Larry Crowley comes from the great state of Maine where Rock is alive and thrives. He cut his teeth on country with his fathers band, but he would expand upon that to the point that he would be known in those parts as "Larry Rock And Roll Crowley." He has shared the stage with acts like Fats Domino, Jimmy Rogers, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts and Royal Wade Kimes a top western artist. Royal Wade was asked to describe Larry Crowley and his music. "I've known Larry Crowley for 10 years and I find him to be amazing. His style playing the guitar is like no other. Some would like to be Larry, but, like to be is all it will be. Larry is the bend in the string, he's like a gunslinger with a guitar and has an uncanny way with his approach to a song. The vocal is original, and most important, believable and smooth. The record "Bang!" which is Larry Crowley's first National Record has no fluff, it is a get down to business record. Larry in this record gives you the impression he is well seasoned like the start of the article said. After listening to this record it is plain to see Larry Crowley was ready. So many times in the recording and writing of a song it is either rushed or dumped out on the public before the artist or writer had matured enough to make it all it could be. Not the case here. Larry Crowley has come out the gate strong. This is one CD that should be in your library of songs if indeed you love Rock. One thing interesting about Larry Crowley's style with the guitar, there seems to be two styles, one with the electric and another with the acoustic. When asked about that: Larry grins..."Oh yea guess maybe. I started out playing acoustic guitar with my dad. He taught me some of his licks and I just kinda leaned that direction with the flat top. Might say I was born with the style. The electric is another story, I can feel the power, the energy, sometimes it's like a rush. Larry looks off, Yea guess it kinda takes over and I just kinda follow along. Larry looks back with a grin. Isn't music suppose to be that way? Takes us some place. Isn't music just the grandest thing in our lives!" You ever notice the Boss? That face he makes when it's feelin so good he can hardly stand it. That's what music, good guitar players, good writers can do...They can take you places. I hope that is what I have done with BANG! I hope it touches, takes you places. In todays world a guy like Larry Crowley has to deliever. He not only has competition with the Majors but there are more and more Indies coming on. One thing I am sure of, he'll be leading the pack where ever he's at. Wonderment Records took a chance, when you listen to the record, it seems the bet is even money, a risk worth taking. We the consumer should thank Wonderment Records for the gift, for making BANG! possible, for giving us Larry Rock And Roll Crowley. So when you hear thunder in the distance, look up, it will be Larry Crowley coming. Stand Out Tracks: Stand out means, though the others are killer, these have that little extra something that makes them even more special. Deal Go Down, Faith makes The Man, Summer Avenue, Rollin On Down The Road, She's My baby, Used To call Me Baby. Every good album has a monster song, "Used To call Me Baby" is that song. That song gives you more Bang for the buck than most records today. Special guest, Rosemarry Butler. Enjoy the music.
