CD Reviews

A Must Have. Really!

"This is a beautiful CD! Sarah's voice is clear, passionate...powerful. The songs are dynamic and varied. They get inside your head. After listening to the CD a couple of times, I was humming "I Knew I Never Should Have Trusted You" and "Everwater" and "Outlands" at work. I liked this CD so much when I first got it, I had to force myself not to listen to it too often. My musical taste runs the gamut from Japanese pop to Finnish folk to American rock (Garbage, No Doubt, etc.) and this has become one of my most played CDs (it's in a dead heat with Grace Griffith's new CD). Besides you just have to love a CD with secret songs--dang! I gave it away! I am already waiting for a follow-up. You won't be sorry you bought this one."
Passionate and creative

"I first heard Lady Jane Grey in Starbucks. Although I had heard several other bands at Starbucks before, these two (Sara and David) were very different. They offered something else with their enchanting music. Sara added her beautiful cello playing and her incredible, emotional voice. I even read that they were finalists for auditioning at the Lilith Fair. They very much have so much talent. Each song leaves its unweaving magic that remains with you throughout the day. I fall asleep every night to track six: Twilight. My absolute favorite is the third track: Fire. A highly seductive song, "Fire" is stunning and chills me every single time I hear it. Sara's voice sounded, I think, most passionate in this song. One could almost feel her emotion coming through. The whole CD is just very relaxing and soothing. Perfect for sitting next to a fire or reading a book. Buy it. It's beautiful."
