Synopsis

Product Description
The doleful rockers once again transport the listener to a melancholic world with "Songs For The Last View". Their latest work is a whirling current of powerful, dark, and graceful songs that take the Gothic Rock gender one step closer to perfection. With masterful ease Lacrimas Profundere is able to create a balance between driving Rock and gentle reflection. The deep and strong vocals of the new frontman Robert Vitacca provide the finishing touch, giving the tracks their pronounced singularness, and making way for producer John Fryer (HIM, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode) to refine the album's sound. "Songs For The Last View" offers the perfect soundtrack for somber hearts, and for those who would like to join their ranks.

The Ltd. Ed. of Songs For The Last View comes packaged in deluxe digipak format, contains 4 bonus tracks and an extra DVD with videoclips and live footage.

CD Reviews

Exceeded my expectations for the new vocalist

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I did not know what to expect from Lacrimas after the departure of Christopher Schmid. My impression after listening to Songs For the Last View is that it is a very good start for a junior vocalist and I expect the upcoming releases to bring more to our beloved band. Lacrimas kept changing their style over the years and they came a long way since they introduced their Dark Gothic metal albums but the later releases still adhere to the same Rock N Sad theme and Songs For the Last View still belongs there. I can't wait to hear their upcoming album and I'm sure it will be once again different. Life is about change after all. Nobody stays the same."
