Synopsis

Album Description
With their sixth release, Ave End, Lacrimas Profundere celebrate their return with beautiful and emotive Gothic Rock reminiscent of HIM. A strong, dark, and graceful album presents tracks caught between melancholy and aggression that skillfully retain their depth. Christopher's voice not only lends a dark and soulful edge to this release, but also conveys deep, strong feelings. Ave End represents something unique, as no one track sounds like any other and its melodies keep the listener captive. No hope without despair - the perfect soundtrack for rainy summer days and cold autumn nights. Mastered at Finnvox Studios, Finland by Mika Jussila (Sentenced, Moonspell among others).

CD Reviews

Brilliant, a masterpiece!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"This album instantly caught my ear. I was actually browsing through music archives and slipped across "Amber Girl". I instantly fell in love! This riffs and melodies in this album are so catchy, yet dark and moving. You can feel the emotion through Christophers strong, dark melancholic vocals. I recommend this album for any Doom metal fan. By the way, this album also introduces a new sound from their previous releases. Don't expect too much screaming vocals, expect beauty and sadness."
