Youthful experimentations in pure sonic assualt fashion

"pounding beats fuzzy sounds adolescent screaming, interesting inner slides all provide a successful debut album. half the tracks are strictly noise, but seem to fit well in the format."

"This is a GREAT debut record from this Columbus, OH band. I witnessed their live show prior to the release of the album and was in complete awe over what I'd just seen. The power and energy of their performance will pummel you, physically and mentally. If you have a chance to see them do not pass up the opportunity. It has been a long time since a record has affected me this way, however, it's not without its flaws. The songs and arrangements are great, but the production really failed to capture the material as well as it could have, although, that's understandable with a band that outputs such a chaotic and visceral aural assault. My only other complaint about the disc is that there aren't enough songs. Half the disc is comprised of ambient/noise tracks (and I love ambient/noise), but I'd like to hear more tracks like the other half. The songs "Cereasin" and "Infidelity" which appear on Invisible Records' "Notes From Thee REAL Underground Vol. 1" really showcase the growth of this outfit since the songs off this disc were written. These songs are not to be missed if you enjoy this album. If you are hungry for more material from this band they also appear on The Faint's remix record and members of this group also appear in another band, Blowup, who have a self-titled disc available from Blood Of The Young Records."
