"Kudsi Erguner is a major proponent of classical sufi music. This collection on Times Square captures beautifully recorded performances of haunting songs. I enjoy programming it on my weekly radio program, Caravan, on WSUM in Madison, Wis., along with its companion CD, Sharki: Love Songs from Istanbul, featuring Nesrin Sipahi."
