Switzerland's whiskey induced metal hydrid KRUGER rear its ugly head again with a new full-length album which pick up things where their first studio effort "built for speed (2003) had left them : right between a Neurosis-inspired sludgy post-HxC and the ferocious sound approach of Entombed. But the whole thing deeper and fiercer. KRUGER have gone quite a long way in several no-one-rembembers-their-name swiss bands, and their 12 years of listening and playing all kinds of heavy music is quite explicit in their great ease to mix chaotic atmospheres, dissonant intensity and mammoth highway-belting riffs. "CATTLE TRUCK" was mixed by the mighty producer Fredrik Nordstrom and mastered by Peter In de Betou. A good way to make sure that KRUGER's heaviness will sound as pure as it should.
