Album Description

Kristeen Young is a piano/keyboard and drums "rock" duo, in the golden years sense of the word, when rock was simultaneously adventurous, original, scary and fun. The duo is made up of singer, writer, pianist/keyboardist, Kristeen Young and drummer "Baby" Jeff White. Young's distinctive voice has been heralded, by many, as the best new voice in rock. She bashes, slams and bangs her piano/keyboard in a rock-riff manner, while running it through effects pedals to make it sound like a cross between a piano and guitar. The single was produced by the legendary Tony Visconti.

""London cry" is in my opinion the better of her 2 currently released singles from Morrissey's Attack label. Both songs on this single are incredibly infectious and addictive. Kristeen young is an artist that sounds like no one else. That in itself is an amazing achievement to me. Nearly every new band that comes out today, one can say, sounds like this mixed with that. Well, everything that I've heard from Kristeen is so different and original, it still amazes me as I listen deeper to the tracks on this single and "Kill The Father" as well. Don't let these limited edition CD's pass you by."
