CD Reviews

Okay for newbies, great for fans

"If you're new to Kreator, this serves as a decent introduction, though I think this collection features too few songs from their classic albums and too many live tracks that don't measure up to the studio versions. I'd recommend you check out albums such as the raw "Terrible Certainty," the complex "Coma of Souls", the catchy "Outcast," and the almost-melodic "Endorama." Ultimately, for fans, this record is essential for the following reasons: 1) Brilliant remixes of several songs from "Renewal," a potentially great album which suffered from poor, cotton-dull production. Almost half of the album reappears here in drastically improved sound and newly clarified sound effects and samples. 2) Remixes of two tunes from "Terrible Certainty," a thrash classic that suffered from thin production. No more. "Terrible Certainty" and Toxic Trace" sound full and furious. 3) Personally, I'm not too thrilled with the live tracks ("Extreme Aggression," "Some Pain Will Last", "Tormentor/Ripping Corpse," and "Agents of Brutality") but they make the collection unique, and I enjoy them now and then 4) The previously unreleased songs "Suicide in Swamps" and "Limits of Liberty" make nice additions to your Kreator library... So in sum, I think Kreator could have done a better job in assembling a "best of" for new fans, but older fans shouldn't go without it, especially the powerful remixes."

"Mille Petrozza did an excellent job w/the selections of songs to make this compilation, I especially dig the 2 songs that were previously unreleased!!! nothing fancy here he took great songs from there past and remasterd them for better sound quality."
Words can't describe the talent this band has!

"The thrash on this album is 'at it's best' fans won't be dissapointed.Sad to say (not really though), I'm the first person EVER to write a review on this Kreator album since it's original release date back in 96'. If you haven't yet heard it, Ur missing out BIGTIME. By the way, U might want to pick up Endorama as it's their BEST album to date. I also did a review on Transport League, please look them up as they're a very good band."
