Great Fairytale Content

"Bamert and his orchestra are going to be Korngold experts. Listen to the magical way they shape the easy to listen but o so difficult to play Snowman music.They do better than the already available CPO series - but we have to thank CPO too for their devotion - because they beat everyone on recording quality and bite. Yes, Korngold has to bite now and then, he knew how to write a bittersweet waltz.For an introduction to Korngold Bamert's discs are a revelation and a very good introduction to the sad story of the composer-child Korngold."
