CD Reviews

Better Than All The Others... That I've Heard Anyway! WOW!
12/18/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am new to reviews, so please excuse me if this stinks. I gave this CD a 5/5 because in my opinion, this is the best KoRN CD that I have heard so far. The first KoRN song I have heard, I believe is "Thoughtless", so I like Untouchables quite a bit. Anyway, lets talk about the songs.

1.Twisted Transistor- Heard it zillions of times. worst on CD. 7/10, but good for a listen every now and then. Besides, it was they're first single without Munky. Really popposh too for most of it.

2.Politics- Great. A lot like commercial metal, but great( Sorry, but I like that stuff).10/10

3.Hypocrites- Quite a bit like the latter and real catchy. 10/10

4.Souvenir- Really good. Now we're getting to the more familiar stuff.9/10

5.10 or a 2-way- don't really get it, but it is weird and good. Its been stuck in my head for 2 days now.9.5/10

6.Throw me away- At first, I didn't realize how good it was so I skipped it. Boy was I wrong. Too long though... Anything above 8/10.

7.Love Song- Oh my god! Holy Crap! I listened to this song for literally like 40 minutes on repeat! Very atchy and odd."One sip of the blood that I found"???? 25/10 if its possible.

8.Open Up- Don't get it. Good though. 9/10?

9.Coming Undone- Many fans of the first CD love this. Check it out. Insane lyrics about suicide.Anything above 8.5/10 will work in my book. Like they say, sorta sounds raw, and like old works.

10.Getting Off- Love the beginning. About an idiot giving sex to herself? 10/10

11.Liar- Almost as good as "Love Song." Catchy; it was stuck in my head for a day or two. 17/20. Again, if it'll work. AWESOME.

12.For No One- If I never heard it, I wouldn't mourn. 6.5/10, or anything higher would work.

13. Seen It All- At first I repeated it like 3 or 4 times, now I just listen to it once if I get this far.10/10 for first time's sake.

14. Tearjerker- Great and heartfelt. Just like most others say. Kinda sounds like a mix of these singers: Sarah Macglahlan, Jesse McCartney, and JD all muddled together into one for the first about 3:30.

Bonus Disk:

1.It's Me Again: Wha...? this should have been a B-Side off of "KoRN" or "Take A Look In The Mirror." Real good on the second listen. First time, you won't even want to finish 2 minutes.10/10

2. About 2 or 3 people have said that this is the best, but I don't think that it is. One of the best from this CD though. 10/10 maybe?

3. Last Legal Drug (Le Petit Mort)-orgasm: Perverted. For those who liked the rest of the CD and/or A.D.I.D.A.S. 10/10. In my REVOLVER Magazine, it says that this would be on the original S.Y.O.T.O.S. album with 11 others. Wrong. Dead wrong.

Sorry, haven't gotten around to the rest."
