CD Reviews

Best underground album ever!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Koopsta knicca was a member of 3,6, until he apeared on kingpin skinny pimp's album "2000 rap dopegame". 3,6 did'nt like koopsta on his album, because there was beef with skinny pimp, so koopsta did'nt want to hear all the drama, and left 3,6. This album he did, was when he was down with 3,6, and the best underground album ever recorded. My favorites are "Torture chamber", great metallica sample."crucifix", d.j. paul tear's it up on this one. "Stash spot[remix]",good gun's n roses sample, and "front a busta" is a tight "Blow up your block" type song, with all that bangin a** bass. If you like unerground rap, this is the best you'll find out there. Koopsta is the the most underrated member out the 3,6 clique, right next to lord infamous. So if your a three 6 mafia fan, you won't go wrong with da koopsta man."

"One of the most original rappers in they south,or I say in the whole rap game is Koopsta Knicca from Three 6 Mafia. This is an album of some of his underground hits.Track 1 is "Torture Chamber" which starts out as a short intro then the beat starts. The beat is tight, they only part I don't like is the Arabian sound in the background. This song is still tight though."Crucifix" is next and this track is tight as hell. After Koopsta's chorus Paul comes in and raps a verse followed by a chorus and then Koopsta comes in -- this song is tight!Track 3 is also tight as hell and it's mostly DJ Paul rappin. It's called "Ready 2 Ride" and other then Paul it has Crunchy Blac in it.The beat is tight and Paul just tears this song apart. CB's verse ain't that tight but its pretty good. "Robbers" is track 4.This track is more laid back. When Koopsta starts..it's like an echo you can almost here it twice in the background. This ain't one of my favorite tracks.I just ain't feeling it as much as some of the others. The chorus sucks as well. "Smokin On A J" is track 5 and by the quality you can tell this is an underground song. The quality is still pretty good but it makes the beat and bass hit harder then originaly. This track got a very nice bassline. It's a fair track, not bad."Stash Pot [OG]" is the next track and this is the original version of stash pot. This track is off the chains.Tight beat and bassline.Koopsta rips the mic apart completely in this track. Following that track is "Front A Busta" which has also got a nice bassline. This track is decent i just dont like the sounds in the background, they're irratating. "Judgement Nite" is the next track. For the first so called minute the little skit repeats and Koopsta comes in and starts rappin.I don't like the repeating movie skits in the song thats about it,I like the beat and bass though."Bustaz Betta Make Way" is the next track and this track got the biggest bassline so far.DJ Paul sounds about 15 or so in this song. Skit's and the beat go back and forth throughout the whole song so this really doesnt have no lyrics."Ana Got Me Clickin" is track 10.The chorus to this song sounds far away.Koopsta has a pretty tight verse in this song. The beat is tight and is accompied by many different sounds, drums and bass."Now I'm High Part 2" is the next. Some of you might've heard the first version of this song,if so you would like this one as well. The beat and bass are tight with Koopst's low toned voice.Laughin and talkin are background sounds in this song."Purple Thing" is track 12 and this song is something new.A bunch of mixing goes on through the whole song except during the chorus other then that it's a bunch of skits. "Stash Pot [Remix]" is a remix of track 6 Stash Pot.I like this one better. The lyrics and chorus are the same, just the beat changed and I think its better.Nothing else to say so track 14 is "Whatcha Gonna Do?" I don't so much like the chorus but the song is tight. The beat and bass are tight as well.If the chorus was a little different it would be better to me.But overall Koopsta's release was a favorite to many and some disapointed. The only people I know that didn't like it were the mainstream folks. This ain't yo Master P.If you like Memphis rap or so much Hypnotize Minds you got to pick this album up.You will like it!"

"This is the best member of three 6 mafia. His melodic type flows excites anyone who listens to three 6 albums. Everyone knows he has the tightest flows of the whole group, just DJ Paul and Juicy J need to give him more time to shine. This is his underground solo tape from a few years back put on cd. So it is not new stuff, but it is still tight as hell! If you are a fan of Three 6 i definitly recommend picking this one up!"
