Synopsis

Product Description
KLAUS WIESE creates an outstanding atmosphere opening you to healing exercises and deep meditation.
Just one track: 55:30 minutes
The Tibetans say: "Listen to the sound of the Singing Bowls and when the sound is gone keep on listening".
This describes a nearly homeopathic approach in music therapy.
The frequencies of the singing bowls have a healing impact on our body, especially while these frequencies cannot be found in (today's) ordinary music productions.

B I O:
KLAUS WIESE was a veteran e-musician and minimalist. He was a member of POPOL VUH and has collaborated with AL GROMER KHAN, MATHIAS GRASSOW, TED DE JONG, SAAM SCHLAMMIGER and OOEPHOI.

CD Reviews

55 minutes of tibetan singing bowls
ThatHollie | Fairfax, VA | 06/01/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"German recording artist Klaus Wiese creates an outstanding atmosphere using only (as far as I can tell) Tibetan singing bowls, perfect for healing exercises, meditation, yoga, etc.

There is just one track, but the ever-changing harmonics are not at all monotonous.

The Tibetans say: "Listen to the sound of the Singing Bowls and when the sound is gone keep on listening".

Perfect for relaxation/meditation

"Finally, a Tibetan singing bowls CD I like. Others I've heard were too 'all over the place' and the bass would get way too loud at points. In other words, not good for meditation and headache inducing. This one gets it right - it's quiet and simplistic yet not too monotonous."
Just what I was looking for

"As a yoga teacher, I was looking for a CD that I could play during relaxation at the end of class. This CD was perfect for quiet, peaceful meditation time. The steady tones coming from the bowls offers a gentle deepening into meditation."
