Gracious ,energetic melancholy

"This is not a rock album you forget once you have gotten to know it. Far from straightforward or easily digested mainstream popular music, each song tells it own story and plants in the listener dreamy feelings and pictures, at the same time melancholic, masculine, energetic and melodious. Vocalist Robert Lund is intense, especially on tracks such as 'CIA' and 'Superpowers' and the band creates potent and talented sound universes around each melody. An album well-suited both for lying on the floor dreaming away and for discharging dancing energy (preferrably during the band's excellent live performances!). The follow-up album, 'The rules of transportation' (2003), produced by Rob Ellis, is even better, but unfortunately not available at amazon as to this date (?)."
