"If KISS left a important fan base with the album Dynasty, with UNMASKED they confirmed as a commercial band that leveraged the rhythms of fashion to sell as many records.

However, this record allowed them to devote themselves in Europe and leave to posterity such classics as "Shandi", "Talk to Me," "It's that You?" Among others. If you're a KISS fan and you love disco music, you should buy it!"

"I wonder if the band listened to this album before they released it? I would hope that they didn't and that's why this abysmal album made it onto the market. It has comedic value, but I don't think that's the effect the band was going for. If this was the only Kiss album I had ever heard, I would never listen to them again."
