BOOooooooommmmmMMMM!

"BOOooooooommmmmMMMM! Chucka-chuckah BOOooooooommmmmMMMM! I've got a thing for Dub 'cause it's got a thing for me...and I've found the pursuit of Dub to be much like the pursuit of [other items]: "THIS one's gonna' blow yer' MIND!"...and so you pay yer' cash and bring it home and it never really seems to be that ultimate mind blower...and so I have a couple dozen Dub cds and a couple dozen Porn dvd/vids and most of either I can't and won't push toward others as "this is the REAL deal"...and then I got this Tubby release...Down on the ground, out into space, up from your feet, Dub in your face...it's all here. THIS is the one I'll tell folks to borrow, or better yet, get. THIS is the one I'll spring on friends, [and other folks] alike...'cause dey'll like. THIS is the Dub disc that brought back that first rush, that Saturday night, up too late, with people of which yer' parents wouldn't approve, mixing and fixing and mingling and tingling until that redun bass came up, your juices too, and you swore you were gonna' do this for the rest of your life, by yourself or with a wife. There's truth in Tub's Dub, this disc especially. ..."

"If you are looking for a dub record but are hesitant to buy anything you have not yet heard, go ahead and add this to your cart without worry. Keep checking your mailbox every day because you are in for a superior "nice time" listening to this record. This album is especially good for reggae newcomers who need to go beyond the immortal Bob Marley and the Wailers and get into some roots dub music. In fact, it features music by Carlton and Aston "Family Man" Barrett -- drummer and bassman for the Wailers, as well as Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare, who formed the rhythm section for both Peter Tosh and Black Uhuru. These two rhythm sections are the premier drum and bass duos from reggae history. You cannot find more roots "riddims" anywhere. And there is no one who can dub it out like King Tubby. He is the original King of spaced out, echo chamber dub music. If you are a seasoned reggae / dub enthusiast, this record will give you that old time feeling like when you first discovered dub. Remember when you used to come home from the party and put on your headphones as you passed out? It's all in this record. Some of these songs have appeared on compilations over the years, but this is the quintessential collection of King Tubby dub stylee."
Excellent, consistent dub

"I rank this on the same level as the venerable "Dub Gone Crazy" album. It delivers lots of deep bass, great dub mixing, and does it consistently- there are no "throw away" tracks.Tubby uses light vocals throughout; a singer is usually only brought in to be thrown into an echo chamber 5 seconds later. This is easily in my top 5 dub albums, along with "Freedom Sounds In Dub", "Bring The Dub Come", and the aforementioned "Dub Gone Crazy". It also has the best opening of any dub album I've heard. It doesn't get any better when the bass is shaking your ribs, and Tubby flips on that test tone. And this happens more than once in "100% of Dub"."
