Synopsis

Album Description
Saxophonist, composer and producer Kim Waters's All for Love finds the consummate hitmaker doing what he does best--creating dreamy melodies, sultry ballads, funky dance-inspired tracks and soulful R&B grooves. His 13th recording as a leader is a collection of 10 songs, mostly original compositions, that illuminate his trademark eloquent and warm sound and his ability to craft an engaging mix of mood-drenched ballads and funky up-tempo numbers. All for Love's first single at urban AC radio is a mesmerizing cover of Aretha Franklin's classic "Day Dreaming" featuring the singer Maysa. "Steppin' Out," written by Waters along with saxophonist David Mann, is the first single for smooth jazz radio. Its lyrical melody and gritty R&B lines along with its swinging groove are sure to catapult this memorable song to the top of the charts. Other stand-out tracks include the tender and catchy "She's My Baby," written by Waters along with one of his favorite collaborators Dave Darlington, and the title track, a melodic and sultry ballad written by Waters. There are also upbeat and uplifting numbers like "Dream Machine," penned by labelmate and guitarist Chuck Loeb, and Waters's own "Happy Feeling."

CD Reviews

Excellent Smooth Jazz!

"Ignore Robert G Raynor's review. This is an excellent CD and will delight all fans of Kim Waters. It sounds to me like Robert G Raynor would be best suited listening to big band slapstick jazz as it's obvious he does not have an ear for a quality smooth jazz groove. Buy it blind!"
Sorry Latinosoulboy ,U GOT IT WRONG

"this is whats wrong with most of the smooth jazz genre.lame mechanical tracks thrown over a bed of programmed drums. Its time to get REAL and play it that way!!!!!!"
Didn't Really Impress Me To Much

"Other than the cover of Aretha's Daydreamin there's nothing to love about this disc."
