Recorded live over 5 sold out "Tribute to Nina Simone" concerts in San Francisco last year, this CD, like Nina Simone, crosses over many genres including jazz, show-tunes, folk, blues and African chant. Kim Nalley is the recipient of "Most Influential African-American in the Bay Area" Award 2005 for Entertainment, and owner of the famous San Francisco club Jazz at Pearl?s.

"Kim Nalley interprets Nina so well. The voice, the musicians... what a smooth and fulfilling trip listening to this CD. This is my first taste of Ms. Nalley, but not my last. I look forward to catching her live in the near future."
