I discovered The Kills with their previous album Midnight Boom as well, but it stirred up a major thirst for more so I grabbed this download on some other service and loved it. It's really garage-y, lo fi, and remarkably groovy. If it doesn't make you dance, if it doesn't get stuck in your head and finally if it doesn't make you hunt down the rest of their b-sides and releases, well then unfortunately this style of music just isn't your thing. It isn't polished, it isn't refined and preened. It's lust with a dark tinge, sheer gruff bravado, and the type of cool music many strive to make, yet miss by miles. Crafty and slick lo-fi heavy on guitars and drums. And if you like this, check out No Wow and their single releases with b-sides. They do not disappoint."
