Synopsis

Album Description

The Killing Moon have all the elements of a chart topping hard rock band, plus much more. It would be a mistake to lump them in with the "emo" genre. Instantly you notice Ryan Hannan's enormous rock voice. The songwriting is exciting and the melodies elaborate. Outside the core instrumentation (guitar, bass, drums), the band incorporates sax and trombone played through effect pedals. The five songs on this debut EP will have to hold you over until a later 2006 full-length.

Take the chance, it's really good stuff

"My first thought on listening to A Message Through Your Teeth was, "Wow, what a weird effect on the guitar... WAIT, THAT'S A HORN!"

Thought this CD Clocks in at only 20 minutes it is quite a ride. It sounds a bit like My Chemical Romance if you stripped away the high gloss production and added a healthy dose of ska. Though that description doesn't really do them justice. The music is fresh exciting and very well recorded. They are high energy, angry, pounding, melodic and smooth. Give these guys a chance, they won't disappoint."
