"with its driving beat, i've always thought the clean was influenced by krautrock. this, his first solo outing, has a driving quality but it's quiet, spacey and delightful with a sense of humor. if i want to soften my commute, yet stay awake, i put this on. it is the place to start with him. then go to sugarmouth, then the far now."
