The sound of Kevin Martin and the Hiwatts is rock and roll. There is inspiration drawn from classic rock some blues, jazz and a bit of punk. The record is not trying to reinvent anything rather build off of a rooted past. The Possibility of Being has a few songs that push rock and roll and a few that sit right in it's pocket.
