A world-class big band from Tokyo led by Kenichi Tsunoda ? international composer, arranger and trombonist. Tsunoda and the ensemble pay their respects to Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, John Coltrane, Count Basie, Charlie Parker, Jimmy Forrest, and one of Japan?s leading champions of Ellington?s music, the late composer Toru Takemitsu.
