Slow-stepping soul from Keni Stevens, an artist who always seems to have a better way with a ballad than he does with a groove. The music here is often nicely laid-back late night stuff, but in an 80s sort of way, given that most of the rhythms and instrumentation are electric, and the vocals get a bit of processing in the mix. That doesn't mean that the sound is cold, though as Keni more than warms things up with his solid lyrical approach, spreading soul across the top in a nicely easygoing mode that really fits the speed of the tunes.
