"Coming out only a year after their refreshing debut album "Heaven's Gate" their sophomore release sounds more like the second half of an amazing double-album. If you already own and enjoy "Heaven's Gate" then this new album is an automatic purchase. There are a few differences this time around, as the violin and female vocals make more than a single appearance, and the arrangements are more complex than before. Along with the original Power Metal/AOR sound they use, the band Asia being the most obvious AOR influence, they add sections that remind me of '80s-era Yes and even some elements from the New Wave band The Fixx. I really could gush about every song, but sufficed to say that Keldian is one of the most refreshing Power Metal bands around. Their unique blend of speedy Power Metal with AOR bands that actually have brains, and their interstellar lyrical content make it easy to recommend their first two albums without hesitation."
