Keith Levene's debut album.

"Violent Opposition was the first album released by former founding Public Image Limited member (and guitar wizard)

Keith Levene. Some of the tracks on this disc have appeared as singles and EP's. For this most part this is DUB music (instrumental reggae) but a few of the songs have Levene's trademark guitar riffs and he sings on a couple of tracks as well (Cold Turkey is one of them). Memebers from the original line-up of The Red Hot Chili Peppers contribute as well.

Although the album is DUB heavy it's still recommended for Public Image Limited 1.0 fans. It sounds what would P.I.L.

might have been if Keith and John Lydon hadn't been at eacj others throats during the dying days of their once awesome

band. Keith is a true punk legend who tries to keep the spirit and ideals of Public Image Limited.
