Very well done

(4 out of 5 stars)

"The first album in a while for Karen Peck and New River is very good over all. 'Hey' has a lighthearted sound with a very good message,"What ya' gonna do when the lord comes back for his chosen few".

'Last Night' is very soulful, thoughtful and powerful.

'Journey of Joy' is an OK song...nothing spectacular.

'Round the Kitchen Table' talks about prayer at home with the family.

'Then He Moved' is the best song on the CD. Devin McGlamery's vocals are outstanding and this song will touch your heart.

'When the stone rolled away' is a fast paced song with a good message.

'Whispered Prayers' is their radio single from this album and speaks of what prayer can and does do. Great song!

'Faith' is a pretty, peppy OK song. Again, nothing spectaculsr.

'Behind the Line of Grace' speaks of Christians being safe when we follow Jesus'. This is a good, thoughtful song.

'Hold On' has Devin back in the lead with a bluesy song about never giving up. Great job Devin!

'Where the Dirt Road Stops' is another OK song.

All in all this is a very good album from a great group. If you like Southern Gospel, you'll like this.
