It was enough to whet my appetite. I am so pleased with this album that it's hard to find the right words. I am a new listener of hers having only heard her solo albums and never one by Solas, her old band. I absolutely love her voice. She is accompanied by very few instruments on this album, so her voice really shines. The album is elegant, haunting, and sincere, not to meant powerful. Her words seep through your eardrums and will make you float. I am a fan of traditional music without a lot of modern flair. If you are too, you will love this album. I also recommend these albums which I also own by Casey: Distant Shore, Seal Maiden: A Celtic Musical, Chasing the Sun, and The Winds Begin to Sing" Understated and relevant.
