CD ReviewsGreat progressive rock! Unsmart | 06/23/2009 (4 out of 5 stars) "Kansas is one of the best progressive rock bands from the 70's. And here you get all their 5 first albums in one box, in miniature vinyl sleeves. Their 5 first albums completely covers their progressive era, which makes this the only item you'll have to buy with Kansas (unless you enjoy their more easy-listening 80's stuff that is).
The music is really 5 stars. No doubt about that. But it is slightly annoying that they put the songs from "Point of know return" on the CD entitled "Masque", and vice versa. I have to knock off one star for that. But great music. Melodic progressive rock with classical influences and a good singer." |
