Synopsis

Product Description
Denmark has always been a reliable source of first-class thrash metal and The Kandidate substantiates this statement more than ever with their debut "Until We Are Outnumbered". Screamer Jacob Bredahl (ex HateSphere) and crew showcase high-velocity riffs, murderous grooves, furious leads, and rock-hard drumming crowned by merciless vocals. The Kandidate delivers a thrash metal inferno able to supply the genre with newfound energy. The tracks on "Until We Are Outnumbered" rage unabated, free of superfluous embellishment, and will surely provide for a cherished dose of neckpain.

CD Reviews

Bredahl hasn't disappointed.........

(4 out of 5 stars)

"This is without a doubt what the new Hatesphere album would have sounded like if it was not for the parting of ways between Bredahl and the remaining members of Hatesphere. For me, the NEW Hatesphere album is way better then this, by comparison anyway, because I enjoy the pounding thrash onslaught that it offers. But I digress, this album is very heavy also but in a different way. This has a lot more groove to it and Bredahl is in top form on his vocals. Bredahl also does some sort of attempt at some actual singing, I think, on the track ENEMY which for me falls flat. I think he should stick to his raspy scream which I've loved for a long time and it does suit him and the music way better. It is also hard to listen to it without comparing it to Hatesphere. Well all in all I would reccommend this to any fan of solid thrash with some groove. Hatespere fans new and old will also enjoy this album, there's that pesky comparison again. Anyway, ENJOY and THRASH on!!!!!"
