I have been away from Hawaiian music for some time. I was in a used book store on Oahu today and I heard track #11, Wahine Ilikea. Somehow it struck me as the best ever rendition of Wahine Ilikea that I have ever heard.When I asked for tha album name the man in the music store got all excited and he suggested that if I haven't heard this album then I would love to hear another abum and he recommended my favorite Hawaiian group.Just from that alone I deduced that this CD must be a great Hawaiian classic.It is said that this song compares the white clouds of Molokai to a woman. On the side of Molokai that is away from the tradewinds, there is a place called Kamalo`oa, and legend has it that there is a lava tube that connects to the north coas, and people lived in the tube.As a bonus you also get a great song #7 Kawika.Must get it."
