Here we go!

"
Exit 2 : Earth fans rejoice. Sound Factory Saturday fans rejoice. The two power after hour parties in Manhattan I feel are starting to battle with cd's. Jonathan Peters has put out two cd's in the past 6 months, no way is Junior going to let him get the jump on him! With both big NYC Dj's making cd's like this we can all know that there will be more to come very soon as both have taken forever to get cd's out in the past.I'm a huge fan of Juniors style, his pin pointed timing, rythm and mixing is untouched. I do frequent Sound Factory more but Earth parties are just as good if not better on a "good" night. Juniors house brand is a bit more true to its roots while Sound Factory's Joanthan Peters is progressive house music, a totally different and faster style. Though both artist dip into higher and lower bpm's they sound different than each other. If you want a sick house cd with all the little Junior treats, buy this album and the one before it also. If you live in New York city then go to an Earth party for goodness sakes! Get there around 8am on Sunday by the way, if you go any earlier you may get bored."

"Earth Music 2 is as close to Junior Vasquez' current club residency, Earth, as you could possibly get, without actually being there of course. I felt that Earth Music 1 was one of the best compilations that Junior has put out, skewing the formula of a harder CD1 followed by a more vocal CD2 that Junior had favored in previous releases. To me, EM1 was Junior cramming a whole day at Earth on to one CD, and doing so successfully. With Earth Music 2 it is as if you entered into Earth at noon on a Sunday, and stayed for 74 minutes. Here, instead of giving you view of the whole picture, Junior is serving up just a small piece of what makes Earth a great club.EM2 is definitely harder than EM1, which might scare some fans off. However, it is not an all dub/instrumental CD. All the tracks have some sort of vocals, save one. Although there are no big "diva anthems", there is more than enough to keep the fans of vocals satisfied. What EM2 showcases very well are Junior's DJ mixing skills. EM2 is the most accurate representation of Junior's live mixing I have heard to date. At times it's very smooth, and other times Junior takes different sounds, and layers them with such skills, that what you think might sound horrible ends up exciting you more than you thought possible.I believe that Earth Music 2 is one of the best CDs Junior has released, and the one that really captures the feeling of him live. I highly recommend this to every Junior fan, and anyone who is the least bit curious to hear the sound of Earth."

"If Earth 1 wasn't enough for Junior's awesomeness this year, Earth 2 makes this the best year in a hard-house fan's life. This addition to the series is utterly amazing in how seamlessly it puts you into the same trance Junior evokes during his live sets. As the blurb in the CD says- the tampering is minimal- the mixes are real, and the enjoyment is through the roof. Junior is the Originator and remains Unsurpassed as the ultimate House DJ. This CD is a MUST HAVE for the discriminating hard house fans."
