Synopsis

Album Description
House super heavyweight Defected Records unleashes the third offering in their new In The House series. This time around, they feature the tag teaming deckmanship of two true stalwarts of the global dance scene ? Junior Jack and Kid Crème! Fresh from his No. 1 UK smash ?Make Luv? under his Room 5 alias, and with his current dance floor devastator ?E Samba? riding high in the club charts, Junior Jack is definitely on a roll. Kid Crème is well known for his ?Austin?s Groove? track on Subliminal, and subsequently his classic mix of Shakedown?s ?At Night?. His current floor filler ?Hypnotising? is also currently topping the club charts. This soon to be classic double disk oscillates between deep and soulful to peak time floor fillers and includes an exclusive of DJ Gregory?s follow up to ?Tropical Soundclash?, ?Elle? and a massive exclusive of Junior Jack?s very own ?E-Samba? as championed by Pete Tong on Radio 1. It?s an essential package!

CD Reviews

Tight funky house that avoids tidious tendencies.
B. Berry | San Luis Obispo, Ca. United States | 09/15/2003
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I want to give this work 4 &1/2 stars. Almost all of the tracks here are good tunes. The mixing is solid and thoughtful. I like CD. 1 the best but CD. 2 has some nice efforts on it as well. Most of the beats are 4/4 house but they are varied enough to avoid that mediocre house curse. Highlights for me are the Mike Dunn, Deepah Ones, and DJ Gregory tracks. If you like Osunlade, Hed Kandi, MasterCuts, Miguel Migs, Soulfuric Sessions etc. you'll probably like this a lot."
