"This cd was difficult to obtain. I had to wait quite a while for it, but it was well worth the wait. It was also worth the money spent. She has a wonderful voice and is one oustanding pipe and whistle player. Then she does this series of 'mouth songs', traditional to her part of Scotland. She does three of them back to back which are amazing and so very fast. Looking forward to her next cd which is also out but not available on amazon yet."

"I recently discovered that my ancesters were from Scotland and ever since I have longed to find a way to be closer, to wrap myself in my heritage. Julie Fowlis is it for me. Her voice is not only a pure bliss but her songs are just amazing. I close my eyes and I can almost feel the wind on high cliffs blowing in my face. This is the second CD I buy from her and I would recommand that lady without a second of hesitation!"
