CD Reviews

Pretty tight cd, a great live performance by a great band

"After the band changed their sound in "Love," this CD is something that I think everyone will appreciate. For one thing, it had all my favorite songs from the band's first two CD's (especially "August in Bethany"). This CD was a welcome suprise for me, as I hadn't really been expecting it when I saw it at the store. But knowing the band's reputation and stuff I was willing to make the blind purchase. Every song is amazing live and showcase the awesome talent that each member of the band possesses. So while the band is growing up with all of its listeners with the somewhat darker "Love," this CD is simply fresh. A welcome blast from the past ._."
The cd does the concert justice

"I was at the Concert at Laga in Pittsburgh when the CD was recorded, and listening to Live puts me back in that concert groove. The Theory give a great show and this album portrays that skillfully. All Juliana Theory fans should own this album and it's a good cd to let people listen to to get a sampling of the band. It's got most of my favorites from their earlier work on it and conveys the concert energy well."
A must!

"If you are a true Juliana Theory fan and you don't have this CD yet then something is wrong with you. I wouldn't recommend it as a first listen from them but fans of TJT would definitely appreciate it...I know I do!"
