CD Reviews

Like A Voice Coil Of An ANGEL!

"This CD deserves a Five Star Gold Rating! The sound is very clean and relax. I recommend this CD as a musical reference and outstanding demo & test disc. Please try tracks no. 9 and 6 and hear the superb dynamic range especially when buying your new audio equipment. To Ms.Judy Collins your voice is truly an Angel's voice coil."
THE BEST OF TWO RECORDS

"This wonderful CD is a compilation from "Classic Broadway" and "Both sides Now". "Send in the clowns",
"Both sides now" and "Amazing grace" are digitally re-recorded. In fact, all the songs in "Classic Broadway" and "Both sides know" are first class.
Judy is greater than ever : inspiration , pure, clear voice of an Angel. As quoted by Pete Seeger for "Both sides know" :
"Great songs. Judy's voice. What more could you want ?"
Judy's voice is most unique and as subtle as a Renaissance Lute. She should record some songs with a
Renaissance Consort (Paul O'dette ...) as she already did.
Someday soon .... Written from FRANCE."

"This song has so many meanings to me. It will be played at my funeral, as it discribes so many aspects of my life. My oldest son, Brett, who was killed in Paris France 1997 bought me a music box with a clown dancing, and this song on it when you pull out the botton box. Only he knew how much this song has always affected me. The words and the way Judy Colins sings them touches my heart always, and like I said, fits my life."
