"Recording quality was excelent and the content ranged from somber to light hearted. Standards such as o sole mio were excelent. no wonder they raved over this guy in 1939 the range of his voice is phenomenal. The performances are vibrant and stiring you can tell from the vocals that he enjoyed what he was doing more a labour of love than a job. This comes across especially on track one and track 20. The best track was The Happiest day of my life.Track 20 The only thing that was disapointig about the cd was it did not contain a track called Tiritomba I have heard him sing it and want to get a copy its an italian folk song. The biography of the singer was a bit short but overall the cd is good value for money and would reccomend it to anybody who likes great tenors. It would compliment anybodies colection and joseph should be put on a par with greats like Caruso,Tauber,Gigli, and Lanza. Keepup the good work supplying unusual or hard to get cds."
