On the opener, "Doctor," lead singer Sam Sharp, in a Tom Waitsain growl, sings, "Now waking up early ain't a thing I can do," all set to an old-time music backbeat and replete with the fingerstyle guitaring of Brenden Wood. Next, sax player Scott Mann's fat horn opens "15 Minutes," a track with a hip-hop beat that will have many listeners thinking of Everlast's Whitey Ford.
